Global Award for Sustainable Architecture
The Global Award for Sustainable Architecture was created in 2006 to stimulate the debate on sustainable architecture, drawing on the concept proposed by the architect and critic Jana Revedin. This award goes not to buildings but to the architects who share a sustainable ethic development ethic and over the years have put together an approach that is both innovative and responsive to the context, culture and diversity.
ELEMETAL was between the five finalists in 2008.
In 2009 the «Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine» decided to mount a travelling exhibition to broadcast the innovative processes of the architects selected since 2007.
